Notes to Self

hearts.bmp

  • Never assume.
  • Never say never.
  • Remember to schedule a little time every day for yourself.
  • Prioritize, prioritize, prioritize!
  • What you don't get done today will probably still be there tomorrow.
  • Remember: you can't be everything to everyone all the time!
  • Be sure to schedule a few laughs in your day as well. In fact, time is short... Laugh a lot! :-)

"A cheerful look brings joy to the heart,
and good news gives health to the bones." Proverbs 15:30 (NIV)

    Note to Self

  • Minor irritations are just that. Let them go.
  • Life is short. Enjoy today.
  • Count your blessings. Number your friends twice.
  • There are at least a hundred moments in a day to treasure. Try not to miss even one.
  • God is good all the time--even when circumstances say otherwise.
  • When all else fails, 2 Corinthians 10:5.

    Note to Self

  • 10-month old babies weigh more than 10 lbs. (duh!)
  • Life is short. Count your blessings.
  • Children are a gift from God. Treat them accordingly.
  • Remember to live in the moment, but be prayed up for the future.
  • Look for God in everything. Nothing is wasted where He is concerned.
  • In every situation ask, "What can I learn from this?"
  • Encourage someone today.
  • Be kinder to your family than you are to friends or strangers.
  • Sometimes the voice of reason is wrong. ("I can too speak whale!" --Dory)

    Notes to Self

I love Joel's idea of blogging "Notes to Self". What a great way to remember to do something important, not to do something stupid, or just remember to laugh. So I'm following my husband's lead, and will begin recording my own "Notes to Self" on my blog. (Be sure to check out Joel's.)

    Notes to Self:

  • Remember not to lift anything heavier than 10 lbs. for 3 more weeks.
  • Get birthday gift(s) and card for Mom's birthday (Thursday, July 10).
  • Check the calendar for the week ahead.
  • Stop and smell the roses. (The theme for the week is contentment.)
  • Get on the treadmill!
  • Have fun with the kids.
  • Hug the kids.
  • Be good to the husband.
  • Let the dog out.
  • Let the dog in.
  • Give husband "To Do" list.
  • Ask God to increase my love for Him. :-)
